Try an MCP server in your own AI assistant

We built a small MCP server for a made-up medicine wholesaler, Keefir Demo Pharma. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant, and you are signed in as its customer, the pharmacy chain Demo Apteek. Ask about prices and stock, place an order, check a delivery or trace a recalled batch.

Everything is made up: there is no sign-in, nothing is really delivered, and orders placed here disappear within a day.

Add it to your assistant

Claude

  1. Open Customize → Connectors, choose + Add, then Add custom connector.
  2. Name it “Keefir demo”, paste the address and choose Continue. Leave No sign-in selected and choose Add.
  3. In a chat, choose + → Connectors and check that Keefir demo is on.

Works on every Claude plan; the Free plan allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner adds it under Organization settings → Connectors.

ChatGPT

  1. Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
  2. In Apps & Connectors, choose Create, name it “Keefir demo”, paste the address and choose no authentication.
  3. In a chat, choose + → More and pick Keefir demo.

Developer mode is still in beta: which plans have it, and whether it may place orders, changes over time. On company plans, an administrator may need to turn it on.

Other tools

Anything that connects to remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP can use the same address, for example Microsoft Copilot Studio, Cursor, VS Code or, for developers, the MCP Inspector.

Things to ask

  • What paracetamol do you have, and what do we pay for it?
  • Can you deliver 70 packs of insulin glargine pens to our Tallinn pharmacy tomorrow? What expiry date will they have?
  • Order 200 packs of ibuprofen 400 mg and 12 bottles of the children’s ibuprofen suspension for our Pärnu pharmacy.
  • What is on its way to our Tallinn pharmacy, and what does its invoice say?
  • Amoxicillin batch AMX-24117 has been recalled. Did we receive any of it, and what should we do?
